Once again IBORN is stepping into a new industry in a well-known market - the Netherlands.
We recently started collaborating with a renowned Dutch company in the chemicals and food manufacturing industry. This collaboration aims to pave the way for next-generation integration into their systems, driving significant product upsell.
At the heart of this project is the development of а recommender system for upselling in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and industrial formulations markets, powered by an XBoost ML model. The model is exposed through a React application and powered by a Django-based backend through a REST API. The system will be used by the global sales department of our partners around the globe to enhance their operational efficiency and drive product upsell.
A key element of this project is our use of Snowflake for data storage and analytics. This marks the first time our company is implementing Snowflake, a decision driven by its robust capabilities in handling large volumes of data with unmatched speed and efficiency. Snowflake’s advanced analytics and data-sharing features enable us to provide our partner with deep insights into their operations and customer behavior, facilitating more informed decision-making and strategic planning.
The new system is expected to enhance their ability to upsell products by providing personalized recommendations and insights. This not only improves customer satisfaction but also drives revenue growth. Additionally, the integration of advanced analytics through Snowflake allows for continuous improvement and innovation, positioning our partner as a forward-thinking leader in their industry.
