The project
Our team jumped on a project to develop a Newsletter module for Clipit’s platform, specializing in real-time searching and analysis across a vast dataset of news articles, social media posts, and podcasts from diverse sources.
This new feature empowers each Clipit’s client to create personalized newsletters and distribute them via email. By integrating this module, we aimed to enhance the platform's value proposition, offering a tool that allows users to curate content effortlessly and stay connected with their audiences.
The module was designed to be intuitive, ensuring that users could easily navigate and utilize it without requiring extensive technical knowledge.
The goal
The primary goal of this project was to create a revenue-generating feature that could be sold as an add-on to the existing platform. To achieve this, the module must be exceptionally intuitive, enabling customers to build and send newsletters with minimal effort.
Our focus was on creating a seamless experience that would appeal to a broad range of users, from small businesses to larger enterprises. By simplifying the newsletter creation process and integrating it smoothly into the existing platform, we aimed to drive user engagement and adoption, ultimately contributing to our client's business growth.
The challenge
One of the most significant challenges we faced was designing a module that offered a good user experience while remaining scalable and efficient. We needed to ensure that the solution could handle a growing number of users and large datasets without compromising performance.
Additionally, generating a visually appealing email template that was compatible with most mail hosts posed its own set of challenges. The newsletter message item needed to have input fields that mirrored the UI of the main dashboard, ensuring consistency and familiarity for users. Balancing the need to provide essential options without turning the feature into a complex email tool was another critical aspect we had to carefully navigate.
