We’re happy to announce that we’ve launched the first app of the My Iborn platform - iborn’s digital library Alexandria.
The digital library Alexandria is a service dedicated to the employees of iborn and its mission is to provide and maintain an enduring source of e-books to support further skills development and learning new technologies for faster and easier career growth.
This year the number of new people at iborn.net has increased by 40%. As we grow, so do the HR activities and it becomes more difficult to deal with them, and for us, employee satisfaction has always been our priority.
Besides (re)forming the People Ops team that takes care of everything to be completed correctly and on time, this week we have one more assistant - Alexis HR, a software that allows us to streamline the workflows and centrally manage all the processes.
Our people matter! That’s why since last week our team is working from home. We took this decision at the very beginning of the virus spread in our country because as a software development company we’re able to easily adapt to new working methodologies. Thanks to that, we have established continuity in our business plan, this way providing our full service to our clients.
From 20-21 February, Bojan Sapunov from the Data Team participated in an invite-only, two-day Accelerated Data Lab Workshop intended exclusively for a selected audience consisting of Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, DBAs, DevOps and Solution Architects from predominantly large enterprises. The sessions deep-dived into the design, development, and architecture of Amazon Aurora with a large focus on how to perform fast migration from the various on-premise databases to the managed cloud DBs (Aurora or RDS).
